("Niger Uranium" or the "Company")

Board Appointment

Niger Uranium (AIM: URU) is pleased to announce that Mr Raphael Danon has been appointed Non-executive Director to the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Danon is currently the Chief Financial Officer of NWT Uranium Corp and a founding shareholder of Asian Coast Development Ltd., an international property developer, where he served as Interim Chief Financial Officer and is currently Vice-President of Finance. Mr. Danon graduated from York University in Toronto with an Honors B.A. in Accounting and has been a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada since 2003.

Raphael Yitzhak Danon (aged 32) has held the following directorships in companies or partnerships in the past five years:

NWT Uranium Corp holds directly 37,549,321 ordinary shares, each with voting rights ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company representing 33.18 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. Mr Danon does not have any interest in the Company's Ordinary Shares.

There are no further details in relation to the above appointment which require disclosure under paragraph (g) (iii) to (viii) of Schedule 2 to the AIM Rules.

Following these changes the composition of the Board of the Company is as follows:

Ian Stalker - Acting Chief Executive Officer

Gordon Cassidy - Finance Director

John P Lynch - Non-Executive Director

Raphael Danon - Non-Executive Director
