Acquisition of UOG Holdings Plc, Placing, Publication of Prospectus

Change of Name to United Oil & Gas Plc

and Expected Readmission to Trading

The Board of Senterra Energy is pleased to announce that today a prospectus has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority in connection with the Company's acquisition of UOG Holdings Plc, the placing of 120,000,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each at 2.5 pence per share and the readmission of 200,935,001 ordinary shares of £0.01 each to the Official List (by way of Standard Listing under Chapter 14 of the Listing Rules) and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market for listed securities ("Readmission"). The prospectus has been published in electronic form and will shortly be available on the Company's website http://www.senterraenergy.com/ and from the Company's registered office at 6 New Street Square, New Fetter Lane, London EC4A 3BF. A copy of this prospectus has also been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at http://www.morning star.co.uk/uk/NSM

In accordance with the Listing Rules, the listing of the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company will be cancelled by 08.00 on 31 July 2017, and Readmission and trading in the enlarged issued share capital, under the name of United Oil & Gas Plc, is expected to occur at 08.00 on 31 July 2017.

Effective from Readmission, the Company's name will be changed to United Oil & Gas Plc, the registered office will be changed to 200 Strand, London WC2R 1DJ and the website address will change to www.uogplc.com 

A further announcement will be made at Readmission.
