Board Change
Universe Group plc (AIM:UNG.L), a leading developer and supplier of retail management solutions, payment and loyalty systems, announces that Daryl Paton, the Company's Finance Director, has notified the Company of his intention to step down to pursue a new career opportunity.
Daryl will remain with the Company as Finance Director until his successor is appointed and for a short period thereafter to ensure a smooth handover. The Company has commenced a search for his successor and a further announcement will be made in due course.
Jeremy Lewis, Chief Executive of Universe Group plc, commented: "I would like to thank Daryl for his contribution to Universe over the past three years and we respect his decision to leave to pursue a new opportunity. He is remaining with the Company to ensure an orderly handover of his responsibilities and I look forward to announcing the appointment of his successor in due course."
