Change in Board of Directors of United Bank Limited
We have to inform you that the Government of Pakistan vide its Notification dated 6 August 2014 has withdrawn nomination / appointment of Mr. Seerat Asghar and Dr. Shujat Ali as Government of Pakistan Nominee Directors of United Bank Limited, with immediate effect.
This is further to inform you that the Board of Directors of United Bank Limited in its 191st meeting held on 6 August 2014 has decided to appoint Mr. Khalid A. Sherwani as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors of UBL subject to approval of State Bank of Pakistan in respect of its 'Fit & Proper Test Criteria' as well as compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in this regard.
