Board Changes

TT Electronics, an innovative global electronics company supplying world leading manufacturers, today announces that John Shakeshaft will retire from the Board on 31 August 2016. John has served as a member of the Board since 2007 and is the Senior Independent Non-executive Director.

The Company also announces that Jack Boyer has joined the Board today as a Non-Executive Director. On 7 July 2016, Jack will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committees. Stephen King will become Senior Independent Non-executive Director on the same date.

Jack Boyer is an experienced CEO, Chairman and Director of public and private companies in the engineering, telecommunications and biotechnology sectors. He is a Non-Executive Director of Mitie Group plc and the Chairman of the Academies Enterprise Trust. Until April 2016, he was a Non-Executive Director of Laird PLC (where he was also Chairman of the Remuneration Committee) and previously the Chairman of Ilika plc. Jack is also a Member of Council of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and is Deputy Chair of the Advanced Materials Leadership Council. Jack has been an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and strategy consultant at Bain & Co. He was awarded an OBE in 2015 for services to Science and Engineering.

Commenting on the announcement, the Company's Chairman, Neil Carson, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to express my appreciation to John for his contribution over many years of service with the Company, both as a Director and as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. We are delighted to welcome Jack Boyer to TT Electronics, with his strong background in M&A, and engineering and technology focused-businesses. I am sure that his experience will be invaluable as we execute our strategic plan and growth agenda".

John Shakeshaft said: "After almost nine years with TT Electronics, I am delighted to be able to leave the Company in such capable hands. TT Electronics is at an exciting stage in its development, with a strong platform and strategic plan recently put in place. I look forward to observing its progress in the coming years".

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to this appointment.
