New drilling contract

Amendment to 10 Day Announcement

The board of directors of Tri-Star (the "Board") announces that the Company has entered into an agreement with a Turkish contractor to undertake a diamond drilling program of the Company's Goynuk antimony mine (the "Agreement"). Tri-Star's commitments under the Agreement will be funded with the Company's existing working capital. The initial program is for approximately 17 diamond holes, targeted at developing a better geological model of the deposit and possible expansion of the known mineralized zones around the mine.

The drilling contractor is expected to mobilise immediately and the results of the drilling, assaying and geological assessment are expected before the end of this year. The Board look forward to providing a further announcement in due course

In addition, further to the Company's updated AIM Schedule 1 pre-admission announcement issued on 26 August 2010, Tri-Star wishes to clarify that it must publish its first three financial reports pursuant to AIM Rules 18 and 19 by 31 December 2010, 30 September 2011 and 31 December 2011.
