Appointment of Technical Advisers to the Company

Tri-Star Resources (AIM: TSTR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alain Chevalier and Mr. Leonard Holland as technical advisers to the Company, both with immediate effect, which complement the Company's existing capabilities in the exploration and development of antimony projects.

Mr. Alain Chevalier will be appointed as Chief Geologist to the Company and brings over 30 years of geological experience, formerly as Senior Geologist and Senior Exploration Manager for Northern Europe and Canada for Lundin Mining Exploration AB ("Lundin"). While at Lundin, Alain was responsible for the discovery of, and for bringing into production, the Storliden VMS Copper-Zinc mine in Northern Sweden. Alain was previously Senior Geologist for SOQUEM INC. for 10 years, acting for the Quebec Government, where he was responsible for base metal and gold exploration in the Abitibi region. Since 2010, Alan has been Vice President of Exploration and a Director of Kopparberg Minerals AB in Sweden.

Mr. Leonard Holland will be appointed as Technical Adviser to the Company, responsible for mineral processing. Len is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials Mining & Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Minerals Engineering Society. Len worked for most of his career with BP Minerals, formerly Selection Trust, eventually becoming Group Metallurgist for BP Minerals Development Limited. Len established Holland & Holland Consultants in 1989, and has since been a prominent consultant to the mining industry on mineral processing metallurgy, having worked for clients including Glencore and SNC Lavlin. He is based in the UK.
