CHANGE TO THE BOARD AND COMMITTEE COMPOSITION

Further to this morning's announcement by Ahold Delhaize confirming that its supervisory board has nominated Thierry Garnier for appointment as a member of its management board and to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer, Tesco PLC announces that Thierry has resigned as a Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Thierry was appointed to the Board as a Non-executive Director in April 2021 and during his tenure he has served on the Remuneration Committee, Nominations & Governance Committee and the Sustainability Committee.
