Tech One Electronics and IntelliSAW announce representative agreement for South Eastern US market

Transense Technologies plc ("Transense") (AIM: TRT), the provider of sensor systems for the transportation and industrial markets, is pleased to announce that its trading divison, IntelliSAW, has entered into an exclusive representative agreement with Tech One Electronics of Pompano Beach, Florida. As part of this agreement Tech One will provide market coverage in the South East US territory for IntelliSAW, an area that is populated with leading US utilities and top OEM's of electrical switchgear, both key customers of IntelliSAW's solution which provides an innovative wireless/passive temperature monitoring system for critical assets in the electric power transmission and distribution network.

Tech One is a well established electronics components and systems representative comprised of a team of professionals who have been providing technical sales and support services in the region for over 30 years.

Access to IntelliSAW's unique electrical switchgear temperature monitoring system will allow Tech One to expand its portfolio of products and services into the Smart Grid arena where IntelliSAW's technology provides real-time, continuous monitoring of mission-critical electric power switchgear.

IntelliSAW's proprietary solution is wireless and does not require any power to the sensors affording ease of installation and system commissioning while avoiding introducing any arcing or flashover concerns. Moreover the IntelliSAW system outputs data directly onto existing communication networks using standard protocols allowing for instantaneous monitoring and control.
