Transense Technologies PLC19 May 2006 Transense Technologies plc ("Transense" or the "Company") AGM Statement At the Company's AGM to be held at 11.30 a.m. today Ray Lohr, a Director of theCompany, will give a presentation to those shareholders in attendance at themeeting. They key points of the presentation will be as follows: 1. Licence discussions with a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry,announced with our preliminary results on 31 March 2006, are still in progress,as are negotiations with a major electronics supplier. The company will makefurther announcements regarding these negotiations in due course. Meanwhile,collaboration on product development continues with both companies. 2. Our licensees are engaged in final system testing and we remainconfident that our tyre pressure monitoring technology will be launched incommercial vehicles in the second half of this year. 3. With Honeywell manufacturing the TPMS 'buttons', and Melexis the RFASIC, Transense has been active in developing the aftermarket business.Honeywell will shortly start supplying 'buttons' to Transense's motorsportlicensee, Stack, who have customers lined up across the range of motorsport.Another aftermarket application is the development by Transense of a TPMS systemfor runflat safety bands, a potentially large, dedicated business that has notbeen possible to date with battery TPMS systems. These systems will bemanufactured by Honeywell. 4. Transense continues to pursue a growing number of significantopportunities for its SAW technology in the measurement of torque for powertraincontrol. It currently has four active projects with major OEMs for engineflexplate, transmission output and rear driveshaft torque sensors. 5. The size of Transense's addressable market is large with over 1 billiontyres and 60 million new vehicles per annum.
