The Board of The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited (the "Company" or "TRIG") notes recent press speculation that the Company is in discussions with Enercon for the acquisition of an equity interest in in the 229.1MW Ersträsk onshore wind farm located in Piteå, Sweden.

TRIG has an active pipeline of assets that it is reviewing across Northern Europe in line with its Investment Policy. One of the potential investments that TRIG is currently reviewing is this opportunity. The Company confirms that advanced discussions are in progress to acquire an equity interest upon completion of construction milestones although there can be no certainty as to their outcome.

A further announcement will be made by the Company in the event of any material developments.
