Tracsis plc, a leading provider of software and technology led products and services for the transportation industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Cole as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Christopher Cole, 67, is the Non-Executive Chairman and founder of WSP Group Plc ('WSP'), a leading global engineering and environmental consultancy. Chris held the post of Chief Executive Officer at WSP between 1987 and 2012, and in that time grew the Company both organically and by acquisition to become a market leader employing over 10,000 people across 40 countries. Most recently, Chris led the merger of WSP with Genivar Inc and has become the Chairman of the enlarged entity, now named WSP Global Inc. WSP Global now trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker WSP with turnover in excess of CAD $2bn.
Chris is also Non-Executive Chairman of Ashtead Group Plc (FTSE 100) and Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Infinis Energy Plc (FTSE 250). He is a Chartered Engineer and Chairman of the Association of Consulting Engineers. Under the terms of his appointment, Chris will not take participate in any share options or stock in Tracsis.
Chris is director or partner of each of the companies set out in Appendix 1 to this announcement; and within the last 5 years has also been a director or partner of the companies set out in Appendix 2 to this announcement.

- Data Capture: Collation and analytical services within traffic and pedestrian rich environments.
§ Tracsis has a blue chip client base which includes the majority of UK transport operators such as Arriva, First, Stagecoach, Go-Ahead, National Express and Virgin. The business also works extensively with Network Rail, the Department of Transport, multiple local authorities, and a variety of large engineering/infrastructure companies.
§ Tracsis has offices in the UK and Australia which service projects in Europe and Australasia.
§ The business drives growth both organically and through acquisition and has made five acquisitions since 2008.
§ Tracsis listed on AIM in 2007 under ticker TRCS.
