Topps Tiles PLC29 June 2006 TOPPS TILES PLC (the "Company") NOTIFICATION OF SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDING The Company received notification today from Fidelity International Limited("FIL") that as at 23 June 2006 FIL and its direct and indirect subsidiaries hada non-beneficial interest in 11,709,709 ordinary shares of 2.5p each ("OrdinaryShares"), equivalent to 5.17 per cent. of the Company's then issued sharecapital. The interest was registered as follows: State Street Bank and Tr Co 2,000,000Brown Brothers Harriman and Co 4,050,000 The notifications by FIL and FMR Corp also comprise a notifiable interest of MrEdward C Johnson 3rd, a principal shareholder of both FIL and FMR Corp.
