TomCo Energy PLC07 February 2007 TomCo Energy Plc ("TomCo" or "the Company") Further placing of 20,010,000 new ordinary shares at 2.5 pence each to raise £500,250 (gross) The Board of TomCo, the AIM-listed oil investment company, is pleased toannounce that a total of £500,250 has been raised through a further placing of20,010,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p ("Ordinary Shares") at a placing price of2.5p ("Further Placing"). The new Ordinary Shares issued pursuant to the FurtherPlacing are expected to be admitted to trading on AIM on 8 February 2007. The total gross amount raised in the placings pursuant to the acquisition of TheOil Mining Company Inc. is therefore £1,781,200, with £1,280,950 having beenraised in the placing announced on 22 December 2006. As a result of the FurtherPlacing the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue has increased to440,582,602. The Board is confident that the funds raised will allow a greater investmentprogramme in oil production and exploration than originally anticipated. The Company is currently examining a number of suitable investment prospects andexpects to announce further participations in producing oil wells andexploration in due course.
