Tinopolis PLC15 March 2007 15 March 2007 Tinopolis plc ("Tinopolis" or the "Company") Response to BBC statement on JAM The Company notes the announcement yesterday by the BBC Trust that it issuspending its on-line education service, BBC Jam, pending a review. It is notclear whether the suspension will become permanent or whether the project willbe restructured to appease commercial suppliers of on-line education. The Company confirms that it currently has a number of contracts with BBC Jambut that it is too early to say what effect, if any, this suspension willhave on the Company. It is understood that the BBC, recognising the potential impact of suspension on its own staff as well as suppliers, is considering howthe suspension should be managed. The Company believes that it would beentitled to compensation in the event that any of its contracts are terminated. A further announcement will be made in due course.
