Leading U.S. Supermarket Chain Onboards SaltMe! Snacks

Tekcapital Plc (AIM: TEK), (OTCQB: TEKCF) the UK intellectual property investment group focused on creating valuable products from investing in university technology that can improve people's lives, is very pleased to announce that portfolio company Salarius' subsidiary, MicroSalt, Inc. has been accepted for a roll-out of its SaltMe! crisps in one of the largest supermarket chains in North America. We anticipate the SaltMe! crisps will be available in more than 800 of their stores in 2022.

This is a significant milestone for Salarius for the following reasons:

· SaltMe! is expected to become a national brand in the low-sodium-full flavour snack category

· E-commerce sales should be positively impacted, given a correlation between retail distribution, brand awareness, and expected increased ecommerce sales,

· Salarius is expected to have a stronger go-to-market success story to present to other key accounts in the following months, and

· MicroSalt® as a brand could be elevated to a national-level ingredient, which we believe will encourage other food manufacturers to incorporate MicroSalt® into their products.

MicroSalt aims to revolutionize the food industry with its patented sodium microparticle, that delivers the full-flavour experience of salt with roughly half the sodium. MicroSalt's salt particles are approximately 100 times smaller than regular table salt, allowing them to rapidly dissolve, producing a large sensation of saltiness. MicroSalt® is all-natural, non-GMO, and Kosher.
