Salarius Ltd Appoints CEO

Tekcapital plc (AIM: TEK), the UK intellectual property (IP) investment group focused on creating marketplace value from university technology, announces that its portfolio company Salarius Ltd ("Salarius"), the developer and producer of Microsalt; a proprietary and patented low-sodium salt product, has appointed Victor H. Manzanilla as its CEO. 

Mr. Manzanilla has significant business management experience in Fortune 500 companies. His expertise is focused on building and leading teams, developing and strengthening both new and global brands and delivering financial performance.

Mr. Manzanilla previously served as Marketing Director for Office Depot®, a leading provider of business services and supplies, products and technology solutions through its fully integrated omni-channel platform of approximately 1,400 stores. Additionally, Victor enjoyed a 12-year career at Procter & GambleTM, holding several positions including Home Care Marketing Innovation Manager and Brand Manager for Global New Business Development for Febreze®.

More recently, Victor served as CEO of VHM Global Research. He has authored two books published by HarperCollins, Awaken Your Inner Hero and Your Moment is Now, and writes a blog which has more than 1M followers.

Concomitant with his appointment, Mr Manzanilla has purchased 2.5% of the shares of Salarius through his consulting firm VHM Global Research for $50,000. Following this purchase, Tekcapital owns 97.5% of the share capital of Salarius.
