Directorate Changes

Ted Baker, the global lifestyle brand, is pleased to announce the following changes to its Non-Executive Directorate, with effect from 29 September 2017:

The Company has appointed Anita Balchandani and Jennifer Roebuck as independent Non-Executive Directors, who will provide additional experience in digital and other related areas to support the continued growth of the business.

Anita is a Partner of OC&C Strategy Consultants, a leading international strategy consulting firm, and an experienced Non-Executive Director with broad international retail experience. Anita is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of AIM-listed Majestic Wine Plc, and a Non-Executive Director of Space NK Apothecary.

Jennifer is an experienced digital and e-commerce executive with a background in digital transformation and brand marketing, particularly in the lifestyle and clothing sector. Jennifer is the co-founder of REVL, the events app, and has wide experience working with technology led start-ups.

Anne Sheinfield has stepped down as Non-Executive Director after more than 7 years in the role. The Board would like to thank Anne for her major contribution and dedicated service during her time with Ted Baker, in particular her stewardship of the Remuneration Committee.

Committee Changes

Anita has been appointed Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Audit Committee, and Jennifer has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee. Also with effect from 29 September 2017, David Bernstein CBE, Chairman, has stood down as a member of the Audit Committee to ensure membership of the Audit Committee is in line with best practice and corporate governance guidelines.

The Company confirms that there is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to the appointments.
