Board update
Further to the announcement on 6 December 2021 regarding the sudden death of its Chair, John Barton, Ted Baker today issues an update in relation to Board planning and composition.
- The Company confirms that a formal search for a Chair is now underway. In the meantime, Helena Feltham will remain as Interim Chair.
- Andrew Jennings OBE, who previously notified the Company of his intention to step down from the Board on 29 January 2022 (as announced by the Company on 5 November 2021), has agreed to stay on as a Non-Executive Director until the 2022 Annual General Meeting at the latest. This step will provide continuity to the Board and Andrew will also continue in his role as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. The Board would like to thank Andrew for his ongoing support at this time.
- Meg Lustman will assume the role of Non-Executive Director responsible for employee engagement, currently held by Helena Feltham, with effect from 29 January 2022.
