Publication of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Thomas Cook Group plc (the "Company") announced on 13 December 2011 that it has agreed to sell its interest in HCV to Iberostar, and announced on 11 May 2012 that it has entered into agreements with Guggenheim Aviation Partners LLC and Aircastle Advisor (International) Limited in connection with the sale and leaseback of certain aircraft (together, the "Disposals").
A Circular will be posted to Shareholders today which contains further details of the Disposals, together with a notice convening a General Meeting of the Company to consider and, if thought fit, approve the Disposals. The General Meeting will take place on 29 May 2012 at CPC Venues, 4 Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4UP.
A copy of the Circular is now available on the Company's website at www.thomascookgroup.com/shareholder-meetings. Copies of the Circular are available for inspection at the registered office of the Company at 6th Floor South, Brettenham House, Lancaster Place, London WC2E 7EN and at the offices of Slaughter and May at One Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8YY during normal business hours on any weekday (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted) up to and including the date of the General Meeting.
A copy of the Circular has also been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
