Notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') announces that Lindsay Beardsell, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") was granted options to purchase 1,267 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company ("Shares") on 16 December 2019 under the Tate & Lyle Sharesave Plan 2011 at an exercise price of 568 pence per share. The exercisable period is 1 March 2022 to 31 August 2022.
The Company also announces that a grant of 34,373 conditional awards over the Company's Shares was made on 19 December 2019 under the Tate & Lyle Performance Share Plan 2012 ('PSP') to Harry Boot, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities.
Awards granted under the PSP will only vest to the extent that certain performance criteria are satisfied by the Company over the three-year performance period which runs from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2022. These criteria are described in the Annual Report 2019. No consideration is payable for the grant or exercise of the conditional awards under the PSP.
The notifications below, which have been made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation, provide further detail.
