The following amendment has been made to the ‘Directors/PDMR Shareholding’ announcement released on 8 January 2013 at 17:00.
The number of shares acquired by Robert Walker should read 108 instead of 148 and the total number of shares held by him following the purchase should be 11,786 instead of 11,826.
All other details remain unchanged.

Tate & Lyle PLC (the “Company”) announces that following the purchase of ordinary 25p shares (“Shares”) on 4 January 2013 under the terms of the Tate & Lyle PLC Dividend Reinvestment Plan (“DRIP”), the Company was informed that the following directors of the Company have acquired interests in additional Shares at a purchase price of 791.75 pence per share:
