Tanfield Group PLC23 July 2007 23 July 2007 THE TANFIELD GROUP PLC ('TANFIELD' OR THE 'COMPANY') RESULT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING The Board of Tanfield is pleased to report that all the resolutions were passedat the Extraordinary General Meeting held today. Further to its announcement on 28 June 2007, the Company has applied for77,324,148 ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expectedthat, conditional on the Company receiving clearances from the United Statesantitrust enforcement agencies under the United States Hart-Scott-RodinoImprovements Act of 1976 with regards to the acquisition of Snorkel HoldingsLLC, admission will occur and dealings commence on AIM on 26 July 2007. Theseordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinaryshares currently traded on AIM. Following admission there will be 370,286,089Ordinary Shares in issue.
