Appointment of Ishbel Macpherson as an Independent Non-executive Director and Jez Maiden as Senior Independent Director

Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Ishbel Macpherson will join the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director following today's Annual General Meeting.

Ishbel was an investment banker for over 20 years, specialising in UK mid-market corporate finance. She has extensive public company experience and currently holds non-executive directorships at May Gurney Integrated Services Plc, Hydrogen Group plc, and Dignity plc and is the non-executive Chairman of Speedy Hire Plc.

On her appointment to Yule Catto's Board, Ishbel will join its Audit Committee and chair its Remuneration Committee.

Commenting on the appointment Neil Johnson, who today takes up the role of Chairman, said:

"We are pleased to welcome Ishbel to the Board and look forward to benefiting from her wide and varied range of non-executive experience."

As announced on 14 March 2012 Neil Johnson has today succeeded Peter Wood as Chairman of the Company. Jez Maiden, who has been an independent non-executive director of the Company since 2007, will assume the role of Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.

Ishbel Macpherson was a non-executive director of MITIE Group PLC from 2005 to 2009 and of The Game Group PLC from 2005 until earlier this year when it was placed into administration. There are no further details to be notified under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to Ishbel Macpherson's appointment.
