Appointment of Dr Just Jansz as an Independent Non-executive Director

Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Dr Just Jansz will join the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 2 April 2012.

Dr Jansz, 55, was until July 2010 Head, Technology Business, and a member of the management team of LyondellBasell, one of the world's largest plastics, chemical and refining companies. He has over 30 years of global experience in the chemical industry, having held a variety of roles during that period at Shell, Montell, Basell and LyondellBasell.

Commenting on the appointment Peter Wood, Chairman, said:

"We are pleased to welcome Just to the Board. We look forward to working with him and benefiting from the extensive global chemicals experience he will bring to the team."

On his appointment to Yule Catto's Board, Dr Jansz will join its Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Dr Jansz is an independent non-executive director of Maire Tecnimont SpA which is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange. There are no further details to be notified under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to Dr Jansz's appointment.
