Appointment of Neil Johnson as Senior Independent Non-executive Director
Yule Catto & Co plc ("Yule Catto" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Neil Johnson will join the Board as the Senior Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 September 2011. Neil, 62, is currently Chairman of Motability Operations Group Plc (a financial business owned by the UK clearing banks), Hornby Group Plc and Umeco plc. His previous non-executive positions include roles as Chairman of Cybit Holdings PLC, Autologic Holdings PLC and Tenon Group PLC.
During his executive career Neil was Chief Executive of RAC Holdings from 1995 until 1999, where he oversaw its successful demutualisation and sale. Prior to that he also held senior executive positions at British Aerospace and in the UK motor manufacturing industry.
Commenting on the appointment Peter Wood, Chairman, said:
"We are delighted that Neil is joining the Board of Yule Catto and we look forward to benefitting from his extensive and varied boardroom experience."
In relation to Mr Johnson's appointment Yule Catto confirms that there are no further details to be notified under listing rule 9.6.13.
