Morocco Press Conference and Distribution Agreement

Label'Vie Launch d2w Carrier Bags

Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc ("Symphony", "Company" or "the Group"), the environmental plastics and waste-to-energy Group, is pleased to announce that it has signed a 15 year distribution agreement with Greenberry Sarl ("Greenberry"), together with Symphony's French distributor, Alternative Plastics Sarl ("APS"), for the distribution of d2w Controlled-life plastic products in Morocco.

Presentation of d2w authorised-user certificates have been made to Label'Vie for becoming the first major supermarket group in Morocco to launch d2w shopping bags in their stores as the first step towards changing most of their plastics to a more environmentally responsible technology.

The launch and presentation was held in Casablanca yesterday, in the presence of officials from the  Ministry of the Environment for Morocco together with the Presidents of some of the main environmental associations, including Fondation Mohammed VI.

Michael Laurier, CEO of Symphony Environmental Technologies plc, said:

"This is an important step forward for Label'Vie and Symphony as well as Morocco as it strives to improve its environment following the speech of His Majesty King Mohammed VI earlier this year. It shows the world by example that there is an easy and low-cost way to minimise the persistent problems associated with plastic pollution of the environment. We are honoured and delighted to be creating history with Greenberry for the betterment of the environment of Morocco

Mr Rachid Hadni, CEO of Label'Vie Group Morocco, said:

We are proud to be working with Symphony to eradicate some of the environmental issues faced in Morocco. Having reviewed and trialled all of the alternatives, we have found d2w to be the ideal solution as well as being economically sustainable. We will be launching d2w shopping bags in all our stores from January 2010.
