SCOTT WILSON APPOINTED BY CROSSRAIL FOR PADDINGTON STATION

Scott Wilson Group plc ("Scott Wilson" or "the Group"), the international design and engineering consultancy for the built and natural environments, is very pleased to announce that Crossrail has confirmed its intention to award Design Package C130 for Paddington Station on the Central Section Framework to the Group and is proceeding to contract.

The contract to Scott Wilson is £9.8 million over a year and a half. This contract is in addition to the previous announcements in June on Pudding Mill Lane Portal worth £4.15m and Farringdon Station now worth £9.9m. A further contract was awarded in July for the design of the bulk power supply to all the stations, portals and shafts of the Central Section Framework with a value of over £1m. Continuing work on Crossrail includes On Network Works for Network Rail - worth £9.8 million and awarded in October 2008.
