CFO Appointment

Shearwater Group plc (AIM: SWG), the cybersecurity, advisory and managed security services group, is pleased to announce that Jonathan Hall has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, joining the Company with effect from 28 August 2024 and the Board at the end of September.

Outgoing Interim Chief Financial Officer, Adam Hurst, will remain with the Group for a short transition period.

Jonathan brings a wealth of experience, more recently as Finance Director of leading media and technology business Gfinity plc, where he spent over nine years and led the process of the Company's admission to AIM. Having initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, he spent six years specialising in organisation and business process design with PA Consulting, a leading London based management consultancy firm. He subsequently spent five years as Finance Director of Saracens Ltd and the wider Premier Team Holdings Group.

The following disclosures are required regarding Jonathan Hall's appointment pursuant to Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies (the "AIM Rules"):

Jonathan David Hall (aged 48) is currently, or has during the past five years been, a director of the following companies:

On 7 August 2017, Jonathan Hall was appointed as a director of Gfinity Esports Australia (PTY) Ltd and ceased to be a director on 14 February 2022. Gfinity Esports Australia (PTY) Ltd was put into administration and was subsequently deregistered via a members' voluntary winding up on 12 November 2021. Under the administration all creditors were paid in full and a dividend was returned to shareholders.

There is no further information to be disclosed in relation to the director appointment pursuant to Rule 17 and Schedule 2, paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules.
