Acquisition of Strategic Leisure Limited
Scott Wilson Group plc, the international design and engineering consultancy,Β today announces that it has acquired the business of Strategic Leisure Limited, a management consultancy specialising in strategic advice to public and private sector leisure organisations, for a maximum consideration of Β£0.6 million.
The consideration payable on completion is Β£0.4 million in cash and shares. A deferred consideration of Β£0.2 million cash will be paid in three equal annual tranches subject to certain conditions being met.
Strategic Leisure Limited was founded in 1998 and is headquartered inΒ Manchester. In the year ended 31 May 2007, Strategic Leisure Limited had revenues of Β£1.4 million and profit before taxation of Β£0.1 million.
Scott Wilson and Strategic Leisure Limited have worked on a number of projects for many years and the acquisition will support and enhance the Group's leisure capability.
