Directorate change 

Savills plc, the international property adviser, announces that Mark Dearsley, Group Finance Director, has informed the Board of his decision to leave the company to pursue a new career with Partnership Assurance, the specialist annuity provider, which was recently acquired by European private equity firm Cinven. Mark will remain on the Board and with the Company until 13 February 2009 and a search has commenced to identify his successor. 

Jeremy Helsby, Chief Executive, said: "We wish Mark every success in his new position. He has provided the Board of Savills and the business with excellent financial leadership, improved systems and processes, and leaves us in a strong financial position and well placed to take advantage of future growth opportunities."

Mark Dearsley said: "It has been a privilege to serve on the Savills Board and to work alongside Jeremy and the rest of the executive team. I remain committed to the Company's success while completing a smooth handover of my responsibilities."
