SMG PLC11 April 2007 Resignation of Donald Emslie, Executive Director Donald Emslie, Executive Director of SMG plc ("SMG"), has resigned from theGroup's Board of Directors and stepped down from his executive role with thecompany with immediate effect. He will retain an involvement with SMG until the end of April, performing anadvisory role to Chief Executive, Rob Woodward. Richard Findlay, Chairman of SMG, said: "On behalf of both the Board and the staff of SMG I would like to thank him forhis dedicated service and to wish him every success in the future." Donald Emslie said: "It has been a huge privilege to have led the Television business of SMG and inthe last year to act as the Chief Executive of SMG plc. I am very proud of whatwe achieved over a very challenging time and I am grateful for the support anddedication from all of the staff and the management team. There is a very solidplatform to build on at SMG and I am positive that the business has a veryexciting future.
