St. James's Place plc appoints two new Non-Executive Directors

St. James's Place plc is pleased to announce the appointments of Emma Griffin and Lesley-Ann Nash to its Board as Non-executive Directors with effect from 5 February 2020 and 1 June 2020 respectively.

Emma Griffin is currently a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Investment Committee of Industrial Alliance Financial Group, one of Canada's largest insurance and wealth management companies, listed on the TSX, and a Non-executive Director of the private investment company Claridge Inc. She is also a Non-executive Director of Solotech Inc and has previously been a Non-executive Director of AIMIA Inc and Enterra Holdings. From 2002-2013, Emma was a founding partner of the stockbroking firm, Oriel Securities, which was sold to Stifel Corporation. In her early career Emma worked at HSBC James Capel and Schroders.

Lesley-Ann Nash is stepping down from her position as a Director in the Cabinet Office of HM Government, where she has spent six years leading a range of large scale commercial and consumer programmes. Prior to that she was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from 1998-2009, having previously worked at UBS and Midland Bank. Lesley-Ann is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Trustee of the North London Hospice.

Following her appointment to the Board of St. James's Place plc, Emma Griffin will also be appointed as Chair of the Board of St. James's Place Unit Trust Group Limited. There is no other information regarding Emma Griffin's or Lesley-Ann Nash's appointments to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
