St. James's Place plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Rooney Anand as an Independent Non-executive Director with effect from 1 January 2025. Upon appointment, Rooney will be a member of the Group Risk Committee and Group Remuneration Committee.

Rooney has extensive experience in the consumer sector having held executive and non-executive roles at retail and hospitality organisations. He previously served as chief executive officer at Greene King, and senior independent director (SID) of WM Morrison Supermarkets Limited (previously WM Morrison Supermarkets PLC). Rooney is currently non-executive Chair of RedCat Pub Company Limited and Purity Soft Drinks Ltd. He is also a director of other companies within the RedCat Pub group, including RedCat Leased Pubs Limited, which is in administration.

There is no other information regarding Rooney Anand's appointment to be disclosed under paragraph 6.4.8R of the UK Listing Rules.
