Star Energy Group PLC04 November 2005 Friday 4th November 2005 Star Energy Group plc ("Star Energy" or the "Company") Humbly Grove Gas Store comes onstream Star Energy announces that its 10 bcf Humbly Grove gas storage facility inHampshire commenced injection operations today. The Company plans to build up tofull injection / export capability over the following weeks. As expected, thefacility will have the ability to fill in 45 days and empty in 90 days. Humbly Grove's entire capacity has been contracted to Vitol SA, a major oil andgas trading company, for a firm period of 3.5 years with options to extend.With winter / summer gas price differentials having reached record levels, theHumbly Grove gas store will be a welcome addition to the UK's existing storagecapacity. Roland Wessel, Chief Executive, said: "Star Energy is focused on building a significant multi-site gas storagebusiness and the commencement of operations at Humbly Grove is an importantmilestone for the company. We currently have four future gas storage projectsin the planning phase.
