Appointment of New CFO

Starcom (AIM: STAR), which specialises in the development of wireless solutions for the remote tracking, monitoring and protection of a variety of assets and people, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer.

On 29 May 2015 it was announced that the Company had appointed Mr Ron Alroy to be the Chief Financial Officer with effect from 15 June 2015. Due to personal circumstances Mr Alroy is now unable to take up the position offered to him. As a result the Company has now appointed Mr Ehud (Udi) Shenig in his place and Mr Shenig will take up that post immediately, replacing Mr Eitan Yanuv who stepped down as CFO with effect from 15 June 2015. Mr Shenig will not be appointed to the board of Starcom at this stage.

Mr Shenig is a CPA who qualified with Deloitte (Israel) and has over ten years' experience advising a number of private Israeli companies. Mr Shenig has previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer with Maariv Holdings Ltd, the quoted Israeli publishing company. Prior to that, he held senior positions with both New Pharm Drugstore Ltd and Pointer Telelocation Ltd. Mr Shenig holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Tel Aviv University.
