Redemption of U.S.$1,400,000,000 4.247 per cent. Fixed-to-Floating Rate Notes due 2023 (the "Notes") issued by Standard Chartered PLC ("SCPLC")ISIN: XS1887493309 and US853254BM16

SCPLC has today given notice in accordance with the Final Terms dated 4 October 2018 relating to the Notes (the "Final Terms") that, on 20 January 2022, it will redeem the U.S.$1,400,000,000 in principal amount of the outstanding Notes together with accrued but unpaid interest in accordance with the Final Terms.
