DirectorateΒ Changes
Staffline, a leading provider of recruitment and outsourced HR services to industry, today announces theΒ followingΒ BoardΒ changes,Β which are effective immediately. TheseΒ result fromΒ aΒ succession planningΒ exercise conducted by the BoardΒ followingΒ Derek Mapp'sΒ indication of his intentionΒ toΒ step down from his position as Chairman of theΒ Group.
Andy HogarthΒ currently Managing Director,Β willΒ become Chairman and Chief Executive. John Crabtree, currently Non-Executive Director, will become the Senior Independent Director.
Shaun BrittainΒ (agedΒ 44)Β willΒ alsoΒ be appointed to the BoardΒ as an Executive Director. Since Shaun joined the Group in August 2000, he has beenΒ one of theΒ Group'sΒ divisionalΒ directors,Β withΒ responsibilityΒ forΒ the largest region, and has made a significant contribution to the growth of Staffline'sΒ OnSiteΒ model,Β which now represents over 75% of Group sales.
Having concluded theΒ Board'sΒ succession planning, Derek Mapp intends to leave the GroupΒ toΒ concentrate on his other activities, one of which is his new role as ChairmanΒ of theΒ British Amateur Boxing Association (BABA),Β theΒ body responsible for preparing the GB Boxing Team for the London 2012 Olympics.
Shaun Brittain has not held any directorships or partnerships within the last five years. There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.Β
