AGM TRADING STATEMENT
SCISYS PLC, AIM stock code: SSY, ('SCISYS' or the 'Company') - the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT based solutions and support services to the Media & Broadcast, Space, Government and Defence sectors is pleased to release the following trading statement which will be read out at its AGM to be held at 12.00 noon today.
SCISYS is pleased to confirm that the Directors remain optimistic that the Company is on track to meet its full year guidance and to report further profitable progress. Our divisions remain positioned as market experts in the value niches in which they operate, and as expected, each of the divisions is making a positive contribution.
We have already announced three contract wins in the Space division so far this year. In aggregate these contracts, awarded by Eumetsat and ESA, are worth €8m in revenue spread over the next few years.
Our Media & Broadcast division has secured support and maintenance orders with a number of long standing customers using our dira!® product, valued around €4m.
Our Enterprise Solutions & Defence division has an order book that is ahead of average levels over the last 12 months and is further backed by a strong pipeline of future prospects.
The Company has a strong balance sheet, continues to be cash generative from operations and has an order book in line with expectations. The Directors expect to maintain the previously stated dividend policy.
