STRATEGIC AtoN DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT
Software Radio Technology plc is pleased to announce that it has signed an OEM agreement for SRT's Aid to Navigation product with an Asia based company which has established sales channels into this market.
The agreement comprises extensive customisation work for which SRT will receive fees of approximately US$285,000 and thereafter sales of the customised AtoN transceivers to the customer. The initial customisation work is expected to take approximately six months after which the customer will commence the marketing of this device and orders will commence.
Simon Tucker, CEO of SRT said: "Our AtoN team is making excellent progress and this agreement is with an important player in this market segment. Our core AtoN module provides a platform around which a customised product can be built providing our customer with a differentiated AtoN product range."
