Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
The Board of Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that, at the Extraordinary General Meeting (the "EGM") of the Company held on 16 April 2014 at 10.00am, all resolutions were duly passed. A summary of proxy votes received will shortly be available on the Company's website, www.srei.co.uk
In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.2 the resolutions passed at the Extraordinary General Meeting have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
The issue of 80 million New Shares as announced on 14 April 2014 remains conditional as to Admission. Admission and commencement of unconditional dealings in the New Shares on the London Stock Exchange and the Channel Islands Stock Exchange is expected to occur at 8.00 a.m. on 17 April 2014.
Following Admission, the number of ordinary shares that the Company has in issue will be 471,513,409. The total number of voting rights of the Company will be 471,513,409 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
