Board change

SQS Software Quality Systems AG (AIM: SQS.L), the world's largest pure play supplier of independent software testing and quality management services, announces that David Cotterell had agreed with the Supervisory Board that now is the right time to resign as a main board director of SQS Software Quality Systems AG.

David has been responsible for a three-fold expansion of the UK, Ireland and South Africa since the business of which he was CEO was acquired by SQS in 2006. A long established succession plan will take care of this business going forward. His other main board activities with Investor Relations will be absorbed by the Group Main Board.

David joined the Company following the acquisition of Cresta Ltd in May 2006, of which he was CEO, and was appointed to the Group Main Board in July 2008.

SQS acknowledges David's huge contribution since he has been with the Company and wishes him every success in the future.

In line with the divisional reporting structure of the group, Steve Fice, who will take over the regional responsibility for 'West Organisation North and South' (comprising of the UK, Ireland, South Africa, India, US and the Nordics) will now report to Diederik Vos, the group's recently appointed Chief Operating Officer.
