SQS wins Contract with HÄVG
SQS Software Quality Systems AG (AIM:SQS.L), the global leader in independent software testing and quality management services, is pleased to announce a new contract win with Hausärztliche Vertragsgemeinschaft eG (HÄVG), the organisation that manages the contracts for the German Association of General Practitioners.
This is a four year contract establishing SQS as the exclusive entity to certify software for HÄVG and, in its initial phase, will be limited to the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
In accordance with the health insurer AOK Baden-Württemberg, HÄVG has entrusted SQS to act as a neutral examining authority to certify software products used by general practitioners. This, therefore, is a very high-profile affirmation of the importance of independence in providing thorough and effective software testing solutions.
The value of the contract cannot be confirmed as it will comprise of many small projects going forward. However, the cumulative value of these over the next four years is expected to be of significance.
