Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC12 October 2005 12th October 2005 SPIRAX-SARCO ENGINEERING PLC Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC (the "Company") Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London StockExchange for the listing of 664,854 Ordinary Shares of 25p each in the Company.It is expected that admission will be granted on 13th October 2005, and thatdealings will commence on the same day. 164,854 shares are issued as a result of the allotment of shares pursuant to theSpirax Sarco Engineering plc Employee Share Ownership Plan. The 164,854 sharesincludes those already announced on 7th October 2005 notifying Directorsinterests in shares that relate to the Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan. 500,000 Block Listing shares are to be issued in respect of the Company's ShareOption Schemes (Spirax-Sarco Engineering 1992 UK Share Option Scheme (15,881shares), Spirax-Sarco Engineering 1992 Overseas Share Option Scheme (148,853shares), Spirax-Sarco Engineering Approved Share Option Scheme (24,217 shares)and Spirax-Sarco Engineering Global Share Option Scheme (311,049 shares)).
