Changes to membership of the Nomination Committee

Spire Healthcare (LSE: SPI), a leading UK independent hospital group, announces the following changes to the membership of its Nomination Committee.
Adèle Anderson and Dr. Ronnie van der Merwe, existing Non-Executive Directors, have been appointed to join the Nomination Committee with immediate effect.
Adèle Anderson joined the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director in July 201 6, and is chair of the Company's Audit and Risk Committee and also a member of the Company's Remuneration and Clinical Governance and Safety committees. Dr. Ronnie van der Merwe has been nominated to act as a Non-Executive Director since May 2018 by Mediclinic International PLC, the Company's principal shareholder. He is not considered to be independent by the Company.
Following these appointments the members of the Nomination Committee are Martin Angle (chair), Adèle Anderson, Dame Janet Husband, Dr. Ronnie van der Merwe and Garry Watts.
