Pre-Close Trading Statement
Superglass Holdings PLC ("the Company" or "Superglass") one of the UK's leading manufacturers of glass mineral fibre insulation products, issues its pre-close trading statement ahead of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 August 2008, which are due to be announced on 25 November 2008.
We can confirm that trading conditions in the UK have remained at similar levels to those we reported at the time of the Interim Management Statement, which we issued on 1 July.
The directors expect that profit for the year ended 31 August 2008 will be in line with current market expectations.
Going forward, economic conditions are more uncertain, and the directors have budgeted for the new financial year with some requisite caution. At this time the directors cannot be certain that current market expectations for the year ending 31 August 2009 will be achieved.
