Pre-Close Trading Statement
Trading remains broadly in line with market expectations
Superglass, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of glass mineral fibre insulation products, provides the following trading update prior to entering into its close period ahead of the publication of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 August 2009, which the Company expects to announce on Wednesday 25 November 2009.
Trading conditions have remained at similar levels to those set out in the Interim Management Statement issued on 17 July 2009. As a result, we are pleased to confirm that trading continues to be broadly in line with market expectations.
An analysts briefing will be held on the day of the results at the offices of Buchanan Communications, 45 Moorfields, London, EC2Y 9AE on the day of the results. At this meeting, analysts will be able to meet the new Chief Executive, Alex McLeod who joins Superglass with effect from 1 November 2009 together with John Smellie the outgoing Chief Executive and Tony Kirkbright, the Finance Director.
