Change of Name
In accordance with the Company's Articles of Association, and with the consent of its acquisition target Kanabo Research Ltd, Spinnaker Opportunities Plc announces today that it has changed its name to Kanabo Group Plc using the authority granted to its Directors.
This measure has been taken in advance of its General Meeting to be held on Monday 15 February 2021 to help facilitate trading upon the expected return to trading on Tuesday 16 February 2021. Covid-19-related delays have been experienced by other firms in the name change process and the Board deemed it prudent to enact the name change ahead of time.
Shareholders will have the opportunity to consider the name change as a resolution at the General Meeting. Should shareholders vote against the proposed resolution, Directors will undertake a further change of company name.
