In its interim results statement of 6 September 2007, Somero highlighted thepace of its international growth to enhance the balance of its international andNorth American operations. Research undertaken by the Company concluded thatthe Middle East and China offered particularly attractive opportunities forgrowth and as such, the Company announced it would focus on building a salespresence in these and other new territories.
