Board Appointment

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, announces that Jonathan "Jon" Kempster will be appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee with effect from 1 July 2024.

Jon has more than 20 years' experience as a public company director. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of AIM quoted Norman Broadbent plc, a leading Executive Search and Interim Management firm, Serinus Energy plc, the international oil and gas company, and a Director of Delta Pension Nominees Limited. Jon was previously a Non-Executive Director of DX (Group) plc, the provider of delivery solutions, FireAngel Safety Technology plc, the home safety products group and Bonhill Group plc. Jon qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1990 and has held several board positions in both an executive and non-executive capacity, including at Redcentric plc, Frasers Group plc and more recently Ted Baker plc.

Furthermore, Synectics announces that Dr Alison Vincent, Non-Executive Director, was awarded a CBE in the King's Birthday Honour's List in recognition of her dedication and services to Engineering and Technology.
